You are right - this was a bad thing. However, it seems bladerf has just adapted: $ apt-cache showsrc bladerf | grep Build-Depends.*libtecla-dev Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 9), cmake (>= 2.8.5), pkg-config, doxygen, libusb-1.0-0-dev (>= 1.0.12) [linux-any], libusb2-dev [kfreebsd-any], libtecla-dev, libncurses5-dev, help2man > Now this has to be fixed.
