Package: util-linux
Version: 2.20.1-5.8
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

The light of the floppy drive lit up and there was noise two times when
booting

  Following was in the kern.log:

Sep 18 20:32:52 jeti kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
Sep 18 20:32:52 jeti kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
Sep 18 20:32:52 jeti kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
Sep 18 20:32:52 jeti kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0

  Tested by running /etc/init.d/checkroot.sh

  The command was "fsck -C -V -R -A -a".

  The line in "/etc/fstab" is:

/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto,iocharset=iso8859-1 0
    0

Thus this device should not be tested (the sixth column is 0) as was
the case until I updated "libc6", "libncurses.5", "libtinfo5", and some
other packages.
