I am sorry to say, that unfortunately the problem has disappeared :-/ I am not quite sure what made it go away, but scrollkeeper-update is working just fine now. Sorry that I cannot help any further in debugging this elusive problem. I'll send a follow-up, if I see the problem reappear on any of my machines.
