snoopy:~/teaching/tcp-masterpro-2004-2005$ iwconfig eth2
eth2      IEEE 802.11-DS  ESSID:"sud"
          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.447 GHz  Access Point:
[...]
snoopy:/home/dedu/public_html/publi/euromedia# iwlist eth2 scan
eth2      Scan completed :
[...]
          Cell 06 - Address: ...
                    ESSID:"sud"
                    Mode:Master
                    Frequency=2.437 GHz (Channel 6)
Isn't a incoherence here between frequency reported by iwconfig and by
iwlist scan?

Also, it would be useful to show also the channel in iwconfig output,
for example like this:
          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.447 GHz (channel X)  Access Point:

Regards,
Eugen
