Removing ~/.gtkrc-2.0 didn't fix any of the errors. Setting HOME to a temporary dir didn't fix any of the errors. I'm using GNOME 3 so I don't have an xsettings daemon. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
