Package: iproute2 Version: 3.16.0-2 Severity: wishlist Tags: ipv6 Dear Maintainer,
ip-route(8) is the manpage for the "ip route" command. I do agree with Debian bug #535128 that IPv4 and IPv6 outputs of ip route should be unified (as are the outputs of "ip addr"), but in addition to this, the option -6 should be better documented in ip-route(8), as well als the option -4. Also the manpage is very light on IPv6 content, while still refering to Linux kernels 2.x in quite a few places. This is probably only of historical interest for current users. One or two IPv6 examples would be nice, IMHO.
