Package: pari-gp
Version: 2.7.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

by manipulating some absolute filenames withing gp scripts to
write precious data in some files, it appears that their
lenght must be rather short, below 128 char_s.

 I get the message:

 get_sep: argument too long (< 128 chars)

This (small) upperbound is set in src/language/default.c
via GET_SEP_SIZE. An uperbound about 512 sounds more reasonnable,
 if not 1024.

hth,
Jerome
