Package: pari-gp Version: 2.7.2-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
by manipulating some absolute filenames withing gp scripts to write precious data in some files, it appears that their lenght must be rather short, below 128 char_s. I get the message: get_sep: argument too long (< 128 chars) This (small) upperbound is set in src/language/default.c via GET_SEP_SIZE. An uperbound about 512 sounds more reasonnable, if not 1024. hth, Jerome -- System Information: Debian Release: Wheezy* APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (990, 'stable-updates'), (990, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.13.10-amd64-mbp62 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pari-gp depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u4 ii libgmp10 2:6.0.0+dfsg-1 ii libreadline6 6.2+dfsg-0.1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 Versions of packages pari-gp recommends: ii pari-doc 2.7.2-1 pn pari-elldata <none> pn pari-galdata <none> pn pari-seadata <none> Versions of packages pari-gp suggests: pn pari-galpol <none> pn pari-gp2c <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
