I am trying to rsync /home from a woody machine to a sarge
machine and transfers are failing for larger files - by larger,
I mean only about 50MB+ in size.

rsync -az -e ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home .

[...hits a large file, hangs somewhere in the middle of transfer...]

I've been doing woody <--> woody backups between machines for
over a year now without any problems. Only on sarge do I see this.
Rsync info on the sarge machine:

rsync version 2.6.3 protocol version 28
Copyright (C) 1996-2004 by Andrew Tridgell and others
<http://rsync.samba.org/>
Capabilities: 64-bit files, socketpairs, hard links, symlinks, batchfiles,
inplace, IPv6, 64-bit system inums, 64-bit internal inums

I'm going to test the blocking issue with using ssh, however
I believe that this went away in versions >= 2.5.5?
