All this worked well.

Told it to ignore network setup. But on reboot, the Grub2 menu appears, and upon selecting the Debian/Linux option ... it hangs. I see the two grub2 messages, about linux then about initrd, but then it stops. I can use grub2 to boot to Win8.1 and to the uefi-bios though. I've turned off FastStart in Win 8.1 and SecureBoot in uefi-bios. The startup in uefi-bios remains set to uefi as that's how the Win is installed.
