I have done that now, hoping that the author's e-mail address is still
valid (the last update of bogomips was four years ago, after all).
The upstream author, Darrick J. Wong, was very responsive and promptly uploaded
a new version 1.4.2. What a pity that it won't appear in Debian... ;-)
