I just did a sanity check. I tried playing a known good mp4 video on
mplayer, vlc and xine. They all had problems. On this new notebook,
flash in a browser works, so I had not realized that there might be
other problems with video.

So, it is likely that guvcview *is* writing good video after all. And
the problems that I saw were just manifestations of this other bug.
Maybe in libavcodec as before.

Not sure how to track this down: any suggestions from a video expert?

But, for now at least, I think that we can assume the guvcview 2.0.0...
is probably running properly with builtin-mjpg.
