Package: dma
Version: 0.0.2010.06.17-14.1
Severity: important

Hello,

I just started to use dma on my Raspberry Pi (running Raspbian) and I
got some delivery errors for the first e-mails due to incomplete
configuration for Gmail as SMTP.

Unfortunately it seems like dma did not keep a copy of the messages.
This is rather unfortunate as I configured mutt to not keep a copy
either since Gmail always keeps one when used as smarthost so I lost a
few good e-mails (hence severity important).

I think it would be much better if dma would either keep the e-mails
even on delivery failure or at least include it in full (quoted or as
attachment) in the delivery error message.

Just as a data point postfix keeps messages in the queue until
successful delivery or deleted by the admin.

Thanks,
Andrei
