Package: vnc4server Version: 4.0-8 Followup-For: Bug #319366
This bug is solved trivially, as explained in the ubuntu bug report: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/vnc4/+bug/4498 Just renaming (or symlinking) vnc.so to libvnc.so solves the problem. I have tried this out in debian and it works.
