Actuall, I think you were right and the point is somehow moot. xfce4-dev-tools doesn't only contains xdt-autogen, it can be used in situations where automake is actually not needed at all. So depending on it might not be the best idea, but if one needs xfce4-dev-tools for xdt-autogen, then I guess she should make sure automake is installed, and thus add the dependency on the Build-depends line (even if it it's usually brought by something else). I guess you can safely close the bug (I don't think we have an invalid tag). Regards, -- Yves-Alexis
