Package: libmtp9
Version: 1.1.8-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Tried to download photo files from a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact phone.
Bus 001 Device 021: ID 0fce:51a7 Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB

jmtpfs returns immediately. Afterwards, filesystem is not displayed by
df (but mount shows it). Any access attempt reports IO error.

mtpfs hangs for many minutes. After that, the filesystem is mounted...
kind of. The displayed size is wrong. When I browse through the file
system, some directories are simply empty but they obviously have lots
of contents on the phone.

IMHO this is seriously broken WRT both, perceived user experience and
functionality.

Regards,
Eduard.
