Package: vim Version: 2:7.4.430-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, while programing in bash, I used this construction inside a shell function: eval [ \"\$$1\" = \'\' ]
vim thinks the line ends with an open single quote. using this: eval [ \"\$"$1"\" = \'\' ] does not help. Both is correctly interpreted by the shell as a valid command. Workaround is to add: #' which closes quote for vim and add a comment for the shell. I am not offering any patch suggestion because I do not know vim highligt control file syntax much.
