Thanks but how do you justify severity level? "serious" may affect unstable-
to-testing migration so I'm lowering severity to "important".

I hear your concerns but I don't see an easy resolution. Before "ceph-
maintain...@lists.ceph.com" was re-configured to allow posts only from 
subscribers I got dropped from mail list more than once due to spam bounces so 
even if you were posting something back then there is no guarantee that your 
email would be noticed.

Besides those who subscribed to ceph bug reports will get all updates from bug 
tracker anyway. Since bug reports are not subject to moderation I don't see a 
big problem here.
