In Debian Edu, we install rosegarden for pupils to create music, and
rosegarden recommend lilypond to get a system for typesetting and
printing the music sheets created. But these rosegarden users do not
need nor want the lilypond-doc documentation.

I believe it would be great for Debian Edu if lilypond only suggested
lilypond-doc, and did not recommend it, as our disk footprint would go
down, the installation time would be reduced and the amount of data
needed to download in a PXE installation would be reduced too. :)

Please reconsider the wontfix tag on this bug.
