Dear Maintainer,

git-dpm uses git tags of the style:

debian-1.7.1-3
patched-1.7.1-3
upstream-1.7.1

while gbp uses tags of the style:

debian/1.7.1-3
upstream/1.7.1

(gbp doesn't afaict tag the patch branches)

I think it would be nice if the two tagging systems were compatible,
and I mildly prefer the slashes rather than dashes. I think that
might make more sense if derivatives started using git-dpm branches.
E.g. you could imagine also seeing these tags:

ubuntu/1.7.1-3ubuntu1

Because of backward compatibility, you probably have to preserve the
current behavior as a default, but here's a request to allow for some
configurability here, in say a debian/gitdpm.conf file.
