In that case, apologies me, modax, but please rise your hand :) >> > but it's becoming >> > very problematic in particular in light of the recent /dev/random problems >> > (see >> > https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=702711#12). >> >> The last upstream version does not fix this issue, but it's anyway an update. >> Furthermore I'm not able to fix such a issue, it far above open() returns >> -EFAULT when program doesn't run ctoropen() returns -EFAULT when program >> doesn't run ctormy current >> abilities (and knowledge). > > Would you be able to integrate the patch proposed in 702711 into your > packaging? > And possibly give it some testing (as you are running that version of > eatmydata)? That patch is against the version 26 of libeatmydata, but a lot of changes happened since it. A first try to adapt that patch to the version 82 failed: eatmydata builds fine, but the error persist. I'll try harder and let you know if I get somewhere. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 4096R/B9444540 http://goo.gl/I8TMB more about me: http://mapreri.org Launchpad User: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri Ubuntu Wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MattiaRizzolo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
