Sounds fine to me!
I'm currently reviewing some changes on another upload that is taking
place into the experimental branch today, so we'll have it uploaded.

It would be awesome if you have the chance to give it a try and check it
doesn't break any gnome/systemd interaction, since I lack any gnome
installation around.
