Please check server statistics and I think it may be ok. This bug has been there for a long time and upstream is not very active, so it's unlikely to be fixed. FYI, iperf has been rewritten from scratch, it's called iperf3, and the Debian package is currently in Incoming. I can send you a link to download the binaries if you are interested in testing it.
