Dear maintainers, I made some progresses on the installation of debian on my iMac G5. After intense googling, I found this the bug 321962 [1], which itself leads to a patch [2] on the yaboot-devel mailing list.

I booted on rescue mode, mounted my debian root partition, edited the ofpath script with vi, and re-tried the yaboot installation. It works! The bad news is that yaboot is not correctly configured, and that I had to go to work instead of investigating further. Nevertheless, I send this mail to avoid duplicated work, and will send an update if I finally manage to boot debian... Best, -- Charles
