Upstream appears to believe that this works without changes.
This will allow the eventually removal of the obsolete gtkmm2.0 packages.
It doesn't work:

1.3.8... Package gtkmm-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtkmm-2.0.pc' to the
