Hi Praveen, As suggested, just add the --git-ignore-new switch to the gbp build-package command. The deleted files come from a convenience copy of a library and need to be removed to ensure that the package is built against the system library. This is a correct operation from the point of view of dpkg-source. If you know a better method to deal with this situation, I'd be happy to use it. In the meantime, I decrease the severity of this bug to whishlist. Cheers, Cédric
