Sorry, this is not enough information to diagnose anything. To be able
to get anywhere we'll need the output from the maintainer scripts during
an attempt to upgrade/install these packages, not just the summary of
what failed at the end of the upgrade attempt.

Collecting the complete output of "dpkg --configure -a" or "apt-get
dist-upgrade" in a terminal or console session would be a good way to
get this, for instance:

dpkg --configure -a 2>&1 | tee dpkg--configure-a.log

or

apt-get dist-upgrade 2>&1 | tee apt-get-dist-upgrade.log

It sounds as though your system has more problems than just dbus...

If you're mixing Debian and Ubuntu packages, please note that that
configuration is not supported by either Debian or Ubuntu developers.
