Package: ipmitool Severity: normal The 13G line of Dell PowerEdge servers will be rolling out later this year.
A patch was submitted upstream recently to add support into ipmitool for these new servers: http://sourceforge.net/p/ipmitool/patches/102/ Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 have taken in the patch, so, we need to also patch ipmitool in Debian so it is ready, too. The patch is very targeted affects ipmi_delloem.{c,h} only. The only thing it does is handle 13G in the same way that other known hardware is handled - no feature changes at all.
