Package: wicd-daemon Version: 1.7.2.4-4.1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
While this is just a "wishlist" item, it is very important for the way I use my laptops. It is becoming increasingly common for people to use laptops on a variety of different networks, along with VPNs and virtual machines. Because of this, at times it makes a lot of sense to have multiple raw network interfaces configured (e.g. wired and wireless at the same time). I request that wicd be tweaked to allow users, from the GUI, to configure multiple network interfaces at once. Clearly only one of these interfaces should be able to configure a gateway ("default route" is much better nomenclature, but whatever) at a time, but it would not be hard to allow this sort of configuration in the GUI. Perhaps shove it into an advanced area where typical users will ignore it.
