‘shutdown -h now’ or the menu from within kDE > Did you wait at least 90 secs? Yes. But nothing happens any more except connect/disconnect messages from the USB-Mouse. Emergency Sync, Emergency R/O Mount and Power off via magic sysrq does work in this state.
