Package: acidlab Version: 0.9.6b20-10.1 Severity: important If I select one or more alerts from the "5 Most Frequent Alerts" screen, select "Delete alert(s)" from the "Action" dropdown box, and then hit the "Selected" button, the alerts are not deleted. Instead, I get an error message that says
> No alerts were selected or the DELETE was not successful This has only started happening since the last Debian update a couple of weeks ago. Before that, acidlab happily deleted the alerts. There doesn't appear to be any entries in the mysql log that contain the delete keyword at all. A similar problem occurs with the Debian package of acidbase (I'll file a separate bug report later). A fresh installation of base from the upstream source (secureideas.sourceforge.net?) works fine. .....Ron -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: sparc (sparc64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.13.2-iddb-0 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages acidlab depends on: ii acidlab-mysql 0.9.6b20-10.1 Analysis Console for Intrusion Dat ii apache2-mpm-prefork [http 2.0.54-5 traditional model for Apache2 ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libphp-adodb 4.52-1 The 'adodb' database abstraction l ii libphp-phplot 4.4.6+5.0rc1-2 The graphic library for PHP ii php4 4:4.3.10-16 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-cli 4:4.3.10-16 command-line interpreter for the p ii php4-gd 4:4.3.10-16 GD module for php4 ii wwwconfig-common 0.0.43 Debian web auto configuration -- debconf information: acidlab/alert_user: root acidlab/archive_user: root acidlab/alert_port: acidlab/alert_name: snort_log acidlab/alert_host: localhost acidlab/webserver: Apache acidlab/archive_port: acidlab/archive_name: snort_archive acidlab/db_type: mysql * acidlab/acidlab_advisory: acidlab/archive_host: localhost ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
