Package: isync Version: 1.1.1-1 Severity: important When I run mbsync -V -l -a against my dovecot server I see folders listed like:
linux/alsa/devel <=> sirena/linux/alsa/devel (left is server, right is local Maildirs) as I expect but when I look at the Maildirs I see that the local folder is actually sirena/.linux/.alsa/.devel/ which is very much not expected and quite unhelpful for many operations (especailly with clients like mutt). I would expect instead sirena/linux/alsa/devel as above. I do note that my IMAP server uses . as a namespace delimiter which I suspect is the source of the error though I've not yet traced far enough to identify the problem. Google suggests that I might want to use the Flatten option but this is surprising and I do want to see a folder heirachy, just without the added .s in there. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages isync depends on: ii libc6 2.19-7 ii libdb5.3 5.3.28-5 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1i-1 isync recommends no packages.
