This bug is the same that this <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=655993>, is not Gnome dependency. Manual solution: link <http://daksaitay.blogspot.com.es/2014/01/of-gnome-clock-failed-for-redshift-in.html>. I have only Xfce and in my system works.
