Hello, I have tested it under Debian Jessie with the desktops GNOME & MATE. By all of them Ctrl-1 has no function.
By testing under Ubuntu trusty the function of Ctrl-1 is ok.
Both was build from the same source with "DIST=jessie pdebuild" and
"DIST=trusty pdebuild".
