Package: winpdb
Version: 1.4.8-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
The winpdb software does not start correctly. Here is a minimal example:
""" Script file: test.py """
#!/usr/bin/python
# encoding: utf-8
print("Hello world...")
""" End of file """
I start winpdb from the command line:
$ winpdb test.py
and the winpdb window shows:
"*** Starting debuggee...
*** Failed to find script."
The bash terminal also shows:
"Impossible d'analyser les paramètres : L'option « --disable-factory »
n'est plus prise en charge dans cette version de gnome-terminal."
I simply expect winpdb to start debugging this program...
Details: I run Xfce4 window manager version 4.10.1, and I have
gnome-terminal version 3.12.3-2
Thank you for your help to improve the situation.
Olivier
