Package: abcde Version: 2.3.99-1 Severity: normal When I was not online, I ran abcde -a encode on some CDs, hoping it would let me resume later when I was online (but didn't have the CDs) and finish the tagging and moving steps. This didn't work, the -a encode runs created abcde.xxxxxx directories containing untagged ogg files and various other info, and:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/lib/sound/local/new>abcde -C 9b0a520c [INF] The disc does not contain any tracks. Giving up... Apparently because this line didn't turn up anything: +++ egrep '^cdparanoia-audio-tracks(=.*)?$' /home/joey/lib/sound/local/new/abcde.9b0a520c/status However, after I commented out the exit after this error message, abcde displayed some ugliness, but went on to resume the ripping of the CD, sorta: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/lib/sound/local/new>~/abcde -C 9b0a520c [INF] The disc does not contain any tracks. Giving up... Grabbing entire CD - tracks: /home/joey/abcde: line 1409: [: : integer expression expected abcde: attempting to resume from /home/joey/lib/sound/local/new/abcde.9b0a520c.. It went on to get the cddb info ok, but then hung here: + '[' X '!=' X ']' ++ get_first ++ '[' X = X ']' +++ cat I think abcde should either support resuming from the result of an -a encode or should not allow it to be done. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages abcde depends on: ii cd-discid 0.9-1 CDDB DiscID utility ii cdparanoia 3a9.8-11 An audio extraction tool for sampl ii vorbis-tools 1.0.1-1.5 Several Ogg Vorbis Tools ii wget 1.10.2-1 retrieves files from the web abcde recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
