Hello Mike,

for scrollz 2.1-1.1 a straight update of the build-dependencies seems
to work. - I could upload this is as NMU if you have not got the time.

Regarding 2014 standards: The package is at Standards-Version: 3.8.4
and could use some love, e.g. support for dpkg-buildflags.
