Note that currently, it's not possible to fully cross-grade a system
to x32, as grub2 doesn't build for x32.  (The source package doesn't
include x32 in its Architecture list, and if I try to build it
manually, there's a hard-coded $(uname -m)=x86_64 => -m64 flag
somewhere that I couldn't immediately see how to correct.)  And
grub-pc:amd64 didn't cross-install on x32 the last time I checked - I
think it had something to do with gettext-base not being marked as
Multi-Arch: foreign.
