Package: dpkg
Version: 1.17.10
Severity: minor

This command worked without error:

# dpkg --add-architecture hppa alpha

But only hppa was added to the architecture list:

# cat /var/lib/dpkg/arch
i386
hppa

I think that dpkg should have either added both architectures, or failed with an error.
