Package: bash
Version: 4.3-8
Followup-For: Bug #601105

Dear Maintainer,

I confirm this issue.

The doc probably meant "/etc/bash.bashrc and ~/.bashrc" as these two
files are often mentioned together a few lines above.

Ciao,
   Antonio
