Hmm. I still don't see anything obviously wrong. The write requests that resize2fs is apparently sending out look completely reasonable. So I don't know what it's complaining about.
OK, how about this: strace -o /tmp/strace.out resize2fs /dev/home_move/home_move_tmp 4269801500 And then send me a compressed copy of /tmp/strace.out.
