Package: base
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'm running a wifi connection via a Realtek-based USB dongle (Zyxel NWD2205).
After startup, for several seconds (up to one minute), the wlan0 operates as
usual, but if there's no internet traffic, the connection essentially stops -
no pings, resolution, anything over ipv4 works, just sits there with a blank
cursor (don't have ipv6).
No messages in /var/log/messages nor in dmesg. iwmonitor is also silent when
this happens.
After cycling the interface (either by network-manager or otherwise), the
traffic is again back up, and dries again if it hasn't got "work to do".
I've been googling on that error, nothing productive came up.
Thanks for at least taking a look, let me know what information/logs you'd
require.

Regards,

R.S.
