Package: ripit
Version: 3.9.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the "CDDB submission by mail" routine requires sendmail to work and ripit
wrongly reports the submission was sent when in fact sendmail was not installed
and no mail was sent.
Therefore sendmail should be a recommended/suggested package or a dependency to
ensure CDDB submissions can be sent without a need for the user to find out
about the necessity and install it themself.

Greetings,
        LaKoon
