Package: network-manager Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
After dist-upgrading my system it became impossible to establish a wireless connection via wicd. Only later, I noticed that along with the upgrade, network-manager was updated also. I'm not sure whether I didn't have network-manager installed before or whether it was merely disabled but the config script got overwritten while upgrading. After stopping network-manager, wicd worked again. Wicd and network-manager should not be allowed to run simultaneously. At least, there should be some kind of warning.
