Hi, Hello now I understand what is happening. Nautilus reads preferences in 'org.gtk.settings.file-chooser.preferences.show-hidden' but never writes back to this entry when the value is changed.
If one had once used a file chooser and set he hidden visibility to true then it can not be changed back through nautilus. Regards Ludovic Control: title -1 nautilus:Doesn't update 'org.gtk.settings.file-chooser.preferences.show-hidden'
