If you wouldn't mind the double work I would suggest to report this
in the Lesstif upstream bug tracker at SourceForge. At the same time,
I will try to reassing this bug to the lesstif2 package. (I'm only
co-maintainer and sure whether I can do this.)

Please add a note to the Debian bug with SF's bug number if you put it
in there and point them to this bug's page:
