I'll look into it, but being a wishlist it may not happen.
There is a tricky work-around. The top-left part of top shows the name
of the program as you called it.

So 
  ln -s /usr/bin/top blah
  ./blah
gives you a top that says "blah" up the top left of the screen.

Not ideal, but at least you know which one you are on.
