Package: procps Version: 1:3.3.9-7 Severity: wishlist The free(1) man page says:
The shared memory column represents either the MemShared value (2.4 series kernels) or the Shmem value (2.6 series kernels and later) taken from the /proc/meminfo file. The value is zero if none of the entries is exported by the kernel. but this is ambiguous: if one gets a 0 in the output, one doesn't immediately know whether the value is really 0 or this is because "none of the entries is exported by the kernel". A real value of 0 may occur with the -m and/or -g option. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages procps depends on: ii initscripts 2.88dsf-53.2 ii libc6 2.19-7 ii libncurses5 5.9+20140118-1 ii libncursesw5 5.9+20140118-1 ii libprocps3 1:3.3.9-7 ii libtinfo5 5.9+20140118-1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13 Versions of packages procps recommends: ii psmisc 22.21-2 procps suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
