Package: apt-cacher Version: 1.7.9.1 Severity: normal Apt-cacher fails when downloading package libgphoto2-2_2.4.14-2_armhf.deb.
Steps to reproduce: Install apt-cacher with default configuration. Run command: wget http://localhost:3142/ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libg/libgphoto2/libgphoto2-2_2.4.14-2_armhf.deb wget will report 'connection closed' near the end of the download, and retry downloading in an infinite loop, with the same error. /var/log/apt-cacher/error.log contains this message for each failed download: Fri Jul 18 17:57:18 2014|info [13139]: ALARM! /var/cache/apt- cacher/packages/libgphoto2-2_2.4.14-2_armhf.deb file size mismatch (found 933504, expected 933508). Renaming to /var/cache/apt- cacher/packages/libgphoto2-2_2.4.14-2_armhf.deb.corrupted. Downloading the file directly from http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libg/libgphoto2/libgphoto2-2_2.4.14-2_armhf.deb succeeds, and the file has correct length - 933508 bytes, so I assume that's a bug in apt-cacher, not in Debian file server. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages apt-cacher depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.53 ii ed 1.10-2 ii libdpkg-perl 1.17.10 ii libfilesys-df-perl 0.92-5 ii libfreezethaw-perl 0.5001-1 ii libio-interface-perl 1.06-2 ii libipc-shareable-perl 0.61-1 ii libnetaddr-ip-perl 4.075+dfsg-1 ii libsys-syscall-perl 0.25-1 ii libwww-curl-perl 4.17-1 ii libwww-perl 6.07-1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13 ii perl 5.18.2-6 ii ucf 3.0030 ii update-inetd 4.43 Versions of packages apt-cacher recommends: ii libberkeleydb-perl 0.54-2 Versions of packages apt-cacher suggests: pn libio-socket-inet6-perl <none> -- debconf information: * apt-cacher/mode: daemon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
