Source: libc6 Version: 2.19-7 Severity: normal Tags: upstream patch Dear Maintainer,
signal.h on arm64/aarch64 incorrectly exports various PSR_MODE_* defines, polluting the namespace and causing applications which themselves define those names to FTBFS. For example this prevents the Xen userspace tools from being built on arm64. I reported this to Linaro: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linaro-aarch64/+bug/1169164 And they have had a fix applied upstream: https://sourceware.org/git/?p=glibc.git;a=commitdiff;h=7d05a8168b45c0580e1f9a79c2dd26c8f0d31fca;hp=af121e371d6d1a46df72d59f3a6b521eb12a9c6e I would really appreciate it if this could be propagated into the Debian packaging so I can update the Xen packages to build on arm64. Many thanks, Ian. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 armhf armel Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
