I can't sponsor either, I'm not even into NM I'm wondering about the license of mrrescue/TSerial.lua: in the copyright file you claim it is copyright Matthias Richter and under Zlib license, but the file only states that the author is "Taehl (selfmadespi...@gmail.com)".
With an internet search I've found this source for TSerial https://love2d.org/wiki/Tserial which however isn't any more useful as far as licensing is concerned.
